Westview Sharks Swim Team

The Sharks are committed to developing swimmers in the Olmsted community

Who we are

Over 45 years ago, the Westview Home Owners Association founded a swim team that has grown over the decades. The Westview Sharks purpose is to organize and prepare athletes ages 5-18 for participation in competitive swimming with a recreational feel.

The Sharks emphasize good sportsmanship and team bonding while providing a safe environment that allows our athletes to grow both physically and emotionally.

How we compete

The Sharks' 100 athletes compete every summer in the Southwest Swim League (SWSL) against teams located in Olmsted Falls, Berea, Medina, and North Royalton.

Our athletes compete in competitive swimming strokes that include freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, and breaststroke. Coaches focus on teaching, developing, and refining the skills needed to participate in these meets.

Coaching Staff

Head Coach Casey Schroth

Hello everyone! My name is Casey Schroth, and I am so excited to be the Head Coach for the Westview Sharks this season!

I started swimming on the Westview Sharks Swim Team when I was in 4th grade with my two siblings so my family has been a part of the Westview Sharks for ten years! I swam for the Olmsted Falls High School Swim Team all four years!

Now I am attending Kent State University as a rising junior. I am studying marketing and hope to make it in the business world after I graduate.

I have always loved swimming and the memories and all the friends I have been able to meet through swimming. I had a blast last year being able to coach all of the swimmers and I can’t wait to coach all the swimmers again this year!
